Rajan Sankar
Chief Adviser & Mentor – Poshan Innovation Platform
Dr Rajan Sankar is a physician with over 4 decades of experience in Internal Medicine. From serving in the Indian Armed Forces Medical Services, to working extensively with governments in South Asia to direct several large-scale health programs, he has been among the most active voices for the cause of nutrition in India.
Over the last 5 years, he has worked as the Director of Nutrition at the Tata Trusts and is the founder of The India Nutrition Initiative (TINI). Dr. Rajan has played an active role in establishing the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) in India and Bangladesh and has also served as a Nutrition Specialist with the UNICEF India Country Office.
